MoneyGram Soccer Park
A 120-acre, 19-field soccer complex in northwest Dallas is ready for its opening kick.
Dallas officials on Friday formally opened the $31 million facility, christening it MoneyGram Soccer Park. The naming rights were given to the money-transfer company for an undisclosed financial commitment to help with maintenance and operations.
The milestone was celebrated as the conclusion to a long-delayed, decade-long process – that featured money from three city bond programs – to turn an old landfill into an elite soccer complex.
